The Role of Carbon in Greening in the U.S. Power Grid

This session will help attendees to understand the challenges of decarbonization efforts for power generation. After completing this session, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze the implications of E.P.A.’s proposed rule to control power plant emissions and its relationship to IRA financial incentives
  • Understand the business model, legal framework, and latest policy developments for carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology
  • Advise clients on IRA implementation including clean technology advancement and deployment, particularly with respect to clean hydrogen
  • Discuss the role of the power sector in decarbonizing other sectors
