Joffre Honored with Trailblazer Award by Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association

Arnold & Porter partner Giselle Joffre was recognized with the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association's (MBLA) 2024 “Trailblazer Award” during the MBLA's Annual Gala on May 4, 2024, which highlighted the organization's achievements and raised funds for MBLA's law student scholarship program. The MBLA is an organization that aims to increase the visibility of attorneys of color within the Massachusetts legal community through education, professional development, and mentorship.

MBLA's “Trailblazer Award” recognizes leaders who enrich the legal profession and create pathways for attorneys of color. Joffre was recognized for her outstanding contributions as a defense attorney and federal prosecutor, as well as her dedication to diversity and inclusion and commitment to pro bono and advocacy.

A former federal prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, Joffre joined Arnold & Porter's Boston office in November 2023. She has over two decades of experience handling government investigations of corporations and executives, complex commercial litigation, and sensitive internal investigations. Joffre speaks frequently and is actively engaged in bar association activities at the federal and local levels on healthcare fraud issues, and currently serves as a Council Member of the Boston Bar Association.
