Avoiding a Financial Fiasco-Compliance with EPA's Financial Assurance Requirements

October 21, 2008
Live WEBCAST

The Arnold & Porter and Celesq Webinar Series on Emerging Environmental Issues

The US Environmental Protection Agency has identified the enforcement of financial assurance requirements as a "National Priority" through fiscal year 2010, and its Financial Advisory Board has been actively examining the issue. Financial assurance is required under several statutory regimes, including Superfund, RCRA and underground storage tank regulations, yet many regulated companies are unfamiliar with—or even unaware of—their obligations. This Webinar will provide an update on EPA's enforcement activity, as well as an overview of the most significant regulations and tips for avoiding compliance issues.
