Andreas E. Moffett

Andreas Moffett focuses his practice on products liability, mass tort defense, and complex litigation. He has experience assisting high-profile clients with products liability, multidistrict litigation, and civil litigation matters.

Andreas also maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on § 1983 civil rights claims. He currently represents Black Lives Matter D.C. in a lawsuit against the federal government on behalf of protesters tear-gassed in Washington, D.C.'s Lafayette Square, and protesters in a lawsuit against the City and County of Denver for police violence in the wake of social justice protests.

Andreas graduated from the New York University School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor and the Alumni Chair of the New York University Law Review. In law school, he was a legal intern with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he assisted with a range of government civil litigation matters. Andreas also was a judicial extern to the Honorable Amit P. Mehta of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to attending law school, Andreas was an opera singer, and performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Peabody Opera, Lyric Opera Baltimore, the Maryland Lyric Opera, and the Charlottesville Opera.
