Marjory Gentry’s practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex commercial litigation, especially in areas with emerging regulatory and government oversight concerns. She routinely defends against consumer class actions based on allegations arising from lending practices, loan servicing, credit reporting, and securities claims. Ms. Gentry has experience litigating claims arising under the FCRA, FDCPA, Rosenthal Act, RESPA, TILA, UDAP (including California Business & Professions Code Section 17200), CLRA, and the Securities and Exchange Act.   

Ms. Gentry also maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on LGBTQ and veteran issues. Ms. Gentry recently served as lead counsel representing a coalition of Family Law and Conflict of Law Professors in filing amicus briefs in support of plaintiffs seeking recognition of out-of-state same sex marriages. She also serves on the Pro Bono Advisory Board of Swords to Plowshares, a non-profit that provides assistance to veterans.
