Frankfurt Office Hosts Meeting of German Association of Women Lawyers

October 8, 2014 Bockenheimer Landstr. 25
60325 Frankfurt am Main
Germany

On October 8, the Frankfurt office hosted a meeting of the Deutscher Juristinnenbund (DJB), the German Association of Women Lawyers. Approximately 30 female lawyers attended, including in-house counsel, lawyers from law firms, judges, and lawyers in ministries and civil administration.

Annette Bödeker opened the meeting by welcoming the guests and giving a short talk on “Female Lawyers at Kaye Scholer.” The participants then heard an interesting report on the current projects of the DJB, including the campaign “Female Shareholders Demand More Women in Leading Management Positions,” the project “Equal Pay” and the new law for gender equality in Germany, which is currently in the legislative process. The meeting concluded with lively networking over a glass of wine.
