Regulatory and Policy Trends Affecting Environmental Law

With President Trump and the Republican-led Congress expressing interest in a retrenchment from, if not the total rollback of, decades of environmental legislation and protections, both advocates and opponents of such changes are entering a new phase of engagement in environmental law issues.

The following analyses—authored by attorneys in our Law360 Environmental Practice Group of the Year (2015), among others—cover a range of both the large-scale proposals and ongoing micro-measures that are likely to affect environmental and related public health and liability issues, as well as the spectrum of businesses, state regulators and potential plaintiffs on all sides of them.
