Arnold & Porter Announces White Collar Defence Partner, Kathleen Harris, Will Become the Head of the Firm’s London Office

LONDON, June 30, 2020 — Arnold & Porter announced today that Kathleen Harris, a partner in the White Collar Defence practice will become head of the London office effective July 1, 2020.

Ms. Harris is co-chair of the firm's Anti-Corruption practice where she represents companies and individuals in a wide range of industries. She regularly counsels clients, Boards of Directors, and Special Committees with respect to complex corporate governance issues. Ms. Harris is recognised internationally as a leader in the White Collar practice. She is ranked in Chambers UK for Financial Crime, Corporates, London from 2017-2020, and in The Legal 500 UK for Regulatory Investigations and Corporate Crime from 2012-2020. She is also named as a "Leading Individual" for Regulatory Investigations and Corporate Crime from 2015-2020.

Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Ms. Harris served as a Senior Civil Servant Heading the Fraud Business Group and Policy Group at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO). In her prior Government roles, she provided strategic advice to the Attorney General's Office, led multi-disciplined teams responsible for the investigation and prosecution of organisations and individuals involved in high-profile bribery investigations, complex financial crime, money laundering, customs and tax evasion.
