Michael Keenan focuses on securities and corporate finance, with an emphasis on asset-backed securitizations and secured lending involving a range of asset classes, including commercial and residential mortgages, student loans, autos, and aircraft. Mr. Keenan is also involved in the workout and restructuring of defaulted loans, and the sale and liquidation of distressed financial assets on behalf of financial institutions.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Keenan spent several years working as a corporate finance associate for FleetBoston Financial (now Bank of America) and Citicorp (now Citigroup). He was credit trained at Citicorp's Institute for Accounting and Global Corporate Finance.
