Peter G. Danias

Counsel

Peter Danias has extensive experience and regularly represents clients in matters relating to the pre-merger notification requirements in the US under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act (the "Act"). He also counsels clients who may have inadvertently failed to file under the Act. He regularly represents private equity firms and has represented purchasers and sellers in many complex transactions in a variety of industries including life sciences, healthcare, defense, energy, finance, technology, software, aviation, construction, chemical, automotive, food and beverage, retail and internet stores, payroll, shipping, education and apparel. In addition, he works closely with our firm's European offices and foreign counsel to prepare and submit foreign competition filings as well as to obtain clearances in a variety of jurisdictions around the world.

Mr. Danias also advises on the relevant aspects of broker-dealer regulation and has significant experience advising clients with respect to the formation, acquisition and sale of US broker-dealers. He also represents clients before the New York Stock Exchange, NYSE MKT and the various NASDAQ Stock Markets and works regularly with the staffs of these self-regulatory organizations. He works on a variety of both public and private financings and also concentrates on matters involving compliance with the various state securities laws.
