Information for Search Firms

The following guidelines have been established to ensure a consistent and efficient working relationship between Arnold & Porter and the search firms who contact our Professional Staff Recruitment Department regarding candidates for non-attorney open positions.

Arnold & Porter does not accept unsolicited non-attorney applications. You may only submit applications for positions that are posted on the Professional Staff Current Opportunities section of our website. We will not consider any application in which the candidate is not identified by name.

Applications must be submitted by the Search Firm through Arnold & Porter's online application submission system. You must follow these procedures without exception. We will not pay you a placement fee with respect to a candidate, nor recognize the candidate as having been introduced to us by you, if you submit the candidate's application to us in any other manner.

In order to ensure that we comply with our government reporting obligations, Search Firms must include each candidate's current email or mailing address when completing the on-line application submission process. This contact information will solely be used to distribute voluntary self-identification forms to candidates in order to solicit their race, ethnicity, gender, disability and veteran status information in accordance with our recordkeeping obligations.
